Drop in one high-resolution file. Get a complete, correctly-tagged print bundle, a size guide for your buyer, and listing text you can paste straight into Etsy.
No account. No upload. The preflight report is free forever.
The report tells you what your file can honestly print — measured from the pixels, not the label.
None of them are visible until a buyer complains or an upload fails.
Canva writes 96 DPI into files that are physically large enough for a 24×36 poster. That tag tells software how big the image claims to be — so a 3,600-pixel design announces itself as a 37-inch poster, and a buyer printing at "Actual size" gets something other than what they paid for.
Most "resize for Etsy" tools will happily blow an 800px image up to poster size — some sell it as a feature. The file then passes every automated check, so there is no moment where anything tells you it will print soft. You find out from a customer, or you never quite stop wondering.
Every uploaded file, ZIP included, is capped at 20 MB. Sellers ship eight separate files per ratio and blow straight through it — for no benefit, because within one ratio every size is the same image.
Any tool can make a file the right number of pixels. The useful question is whether the print will actually look good.
One high-resolution master. It is read directly in your browser — it never travels anywhere.
What it really prints at, what each ratio will crop, and the largest size that still holds 300 DPI.
Correctly-tagged files grouped by ratio, a size guide for your buyer, and your listing text.
Every ratio states the largest size it can honestly fill, and how much of your design it crops.
Most refund requests come from a buyer not knowing which file to print. So that question gets answered in the box.
It runs on your computer, so there is nothing for anyone to bill you for monthly.
Not what you expected? Email within 30 days and you get your money back. Keep the file — chasing a download is not worth either of our time.
Want to see it work first? The preflight report is free — run your own design through it before deciding.
Really. Frameproof is a single HTML file that runs in your browser using your computer's own processor. There is no server component at all — once you have downloaded the file you can disconnect from the internet entirely and it will keep working. You can verify this yourself: open it, turn off your wi-fi, and use it.
It tells you, in inches, and stops there. If your file can honestly fill a 12×18 but not a 24×36, it will build the 12×18 and explain why the larger size is missing. You can override this if you genuinely want an upscaled file, but it is off by default and clearly labelled — because a soft print is a refund.
Because within a single aspect ratio, every print size is the same image. A 2:3 file good enough for 24×36 is the identical file a buyer prints at 4×6. Shipping eight copies is how sellers blow through Etsy's 20 MB cap for no benefit. The size guide tells your buyer every size their file covers. If you prefer one file per size, there is a switch for that.
On any Mac, Windows or Linux computer with a modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. There is nothing to install and no admin rights needed. Not on iPad or phones: they will not run a downloaded HTML file. The free report on this site does work there, so you can check your files from anywhere. Very large files are limited by your device's memory rather than by the software; a 78-megapixel master works comfortably on an ordinary laptop.
No, and nothing can. Detail that was never captured cannot be restored, whatever a tool claims. What Frameproof does is tell you the truth about what you have, so you can re-export at a larger size before a buyer finds out for you.
Yes. The preflight checks against Printify, Printful, Amazon Merch and Redbubble specifications as well as Etsy's. The bundle itself is built around the standard frame ratios, which is what printable listings need.
The download link in your Gumroad receipt keeps working, so you can fetch it again any time. Lost that too? Email support and you get the file again. There is no key to keep track of: the file is the full version, and it works on every computer you copy it to.
The report costs nothing and takes about ten seconds. If it tells you your files were fine all along, that is a useful thing to know for free.
